Design 2000 collaborating with NEC successfully deployed specialised Headset Interfaces for Operators and Supervisors working at Call Centres. This includes Police, Fire and Ambulance in Hobart, Tasmania.

The Interface Units feature dual headsets, inbuilt PTT button, foot switch PTT, auxiliary audio input input, audio line output for recording, and two telephone ports - one for emergency calls and another for "Crime Stoppers" calls. The "Crime Stoppers" audio is inhibited from being recorded as it is treated as confidential.
