Design 2000 with Motorola develops and delivers Audio Management Equipment for NSW Police Force "000" Operators

Design 2000 working for Motorola Solutions successfully developed and delivered Audio Management Units for the NSW Police Force Communications Centres (call sign Voice of King George (VKG)) at Sydney, Penrith, Newcastle, Oak Flats, and Tamworth in the almost impossible time frame of only six months. The VKG Replacement Program is NSW Police Force's upgrade to APCO-25 or Project 25 (P25) encrypted digital radio. The Audio Management Units (AMUs) are used by Triple Zero (000) telephone/radio Operators to switch between telephone and radio calls, record (log) all conversations, and listen to media audio (TV or AM/FM/DAB+ radio) during quiet periods.

Motorola's Program Manager John Girgis commented that "I cannot ask from Design2000 any better service and commitment". Motorola's Systems Integration Manager Faz Moradi went on to say “Design2000 took our business relationship to a new level”. According to Faz, Design 2000 was chosen for the AMU project because he had worked with Peter (Design 2000's MD) for 14 years now… "Peter has never let me down! This is the benefit of dealing with a professional Australian company who understand what it means to commit!"
